Five progressive courses combine concepts, puzzles, guided practice, game analysis and tournament readiness.
Level 01 · Start hereThe perfect starting point for beginners. Students learn the fundamentals of chess, including the board, pieces, rules, basic tactics, check, checkmate, castling, en passant, pawn promotion, and simple checkmating patterns.
Level 02 · Build strengthStudents move beyond the basics and develop stronger tactical and positional understanding. Training includes opening principles, tactical patterns, basic combinations, piece coordination, attacking and defending, and practical game analysis.
Level 03 · Think independentlyThis level focuses on developing independent thinking and stronger competitive skills. Students work on deeper tactics, positional concepts, opening preparation, middlegame planning, endgames, calculation, and analysis of their own games.
Level 04 · Compete strongerStudents are trained to handle more complex positions and competitive situations. The focus is on advanced calculation, strategic planning, opening repertoire, positional play, advanced endgames, tournament preparation, and detailed game analysis.
Level 05 · Tournament masteryDesigned for serious competitive players who want to further strengthen their playing level. Training includes advanced opening preparation, deep calculation, strategic and positional understanding, complex endgames, tournament preparation, and professional game analysis.
The Chess Forge carries forward the coaching journey established by Chethan M.S. through Mandya Royal Chess Academy in 2017. Regular classes began in January 2018 and grew to include school programs, online learners and competitive training.
